Our Birthday Gift to You

It’s our birthday and we have a gift for you! 10% off for new annual or quarterly subscriptions. $25 referral credit for current customers.*  More people composting would make us happier than carrot cake and way happier than balloons.

We’re celebrating our 14th birthday on Sunday, June 16, 2024. When describing how the company came to be, our founder Erlene Howard likes to say the lightbulb went off. The lightbulb, in this case, being the idea that if composting were easy, more people would do it.

The lightbulb that Erlene is holding in the photo was given to us by our friends at Natural Habitat Evanston. They educate on many topics but one of them is light pollution and its effects on animals and insects. Using an amber-colored light outdoors is less injurious than bluer lights. More info is here on Climate Action Evanston’s website.

*Fine print: The referred customer must sign up for an annual or quarterly subscription, pay with a credit card and type your name into the notes section of the sign-up form on our website. This offer is unlimited. If 5 friends sign up, you get a $125 credit. If 10 friends sign up, you get a $250 credit. You get the idea.
